The best way to reach the recreation department is via email: recreation@newmilfordnj.gov

The recreation building is located behind the borough hall by the softball fields.  The recreation building does not have a physical address.

Borough fields are open for public use; however, New Milford Recreation programs, New Milford Junior Football, and Little League have priority at all times. When games or practices are scheduled, the fields are not available for general use.

Any organized activity—including bringing nets, goals, or other equipment—requires a field use permit. Permit holders must provide a certificate of insurance and pay the required fee in advance.

These guidelines ensure safe, fair use of our fields and support the programs that serve our community.

For permit information, please contact the Recreation Department.
